On October 31st 2015, Thinking Pink Foundation, together with a few other health organizations, carried out a marathon in aid of breast cancer awareness. There were two starting points for the mini marathon; one at Cotton Tree and the other one at Lumley Police Station. Registration for the event started at former EcoBank building Siaka Steven Street, 7:00 am.
In October, 2013 Thinking Pink put together a 13.1 mile mini marathon to help raise awareness of breast cancer in Sierra Leone. All funding goes to helping the foundation help patients. In partnership with the WHO and the Ministry of Health and Sanitation, we are putting together a Survivor's Forum. The forum will be held on World Cancer Day, February 4th 2014. Please send us a message if you are interested in attending.
This year Thinking Pink will host the first ever TASTE OF SALONE event at Family Kingdom Beach Front. This is an event you won't want to miss. Vendors from all over the country will come with food, drinks, local art, some will bring samples of Iron Ore, Diamonds and other minerals that make Sierra Leone so rich in resources.
